I took my favorite homemade fudgy brownie recipe, and turned it into the perfect heart-shaped brownie for Valentine’s Day. I don’t have a heart-shaped pan, so I created one using a tart pan, and some aluminum foil. Pretty perfect! I thought about topping each slice with some raspberry or strawberry sauce, or even some salted caramel sauce or ice cream. Any of these would be delicious for sure. In the end, I decided it was beautiful as is, with just a sprinkling of confectioner’s sugar on top!
Here is my original brownie recipe:
Here is the heart design I created out of aluminum foil – spray with cooking spray before adding the brownie batter.
I baked this at 325 degrees, for about 40 min – just until center is set, and edges begin to brown. Room temp is crucial for the best texture for this brownie.
