Some days I feel the need to try out a bunch of new cupcake flavors, colors, and combinations. This past Saturday was that day. Once I decided on the flavors I wanted, I dragged out all of my ingredients, pans, and bowls – softened a bunch of butter, and got to work. Often 1 cupcake flavor can be used to make multiple cupcake designs – for this project, 2 dozen chocolate cupcakes turned into 4 different flavored cupcakes!

My best fans are my grand children – so these cupcake beauties were going to have an avid audience for sure! They are now 3, 4, and 6 – and getting old enough to actually “critique” my creations!

Nothing is more stunning than an assortment of cupcakes on 1 platter! This batch of cupcakes included versions of chocolate mocha latte, chocolate sprinkle, funfetti strawberry, and 2 versions of a s’more cupcake.
